SPLASH (Students and Parents Linking Actively to School and Home) is implemented in Quitman County School District.  SPLASH provides students with academic reinforcement, enrichment activities and a broad array of preventive youth development activities to the students enrolled in grades 1st through 12th. Families will be engaged in educational activities to increase the academic success of their children while increasing sustainability skills of parents as well.  In addition, parents will be provided with opportunities to participate in parenting sessions, employability skill-building, GED preparation, how to assist with homework, life skills training and motivational techniques.  All activities of SPLASH are designed to support student achievement.
